About Your Lovely Garden
Established in 2014, Marlow based Your Lovely Garden offers landscape and garden design to clients in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire working mostly with private gardens ranging from the delightful small town gardens to large country gardens.
Philosophy and ethos
Collaboration and support underpins our work. No plant thrives alone and nor do we. Each and every member of our team, our project partners and our clients need to feel supported and encouraged by our work, be they the client, architects, landscapers, pool specialists, plant suppliers or our local community. This collaborative approach is vital as we imbed our environmental values into sustainable design. Our understanding of how eco systems work on a micro and a macro scale, of how plants interact below and above the soil allows YLG to offer beautiful gardens harmonious to nature and people alike.

Tania Taylor
Director Your Lovely Garden Ltd
Based in Marlow, Tania started studying and apprenticing in garden design in 2010. She established Your Lovely Garden in 2014 to offer accessible and sustainable garden design to clients in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Having worked in the corporate world for many years, Tania understands that successful projects rely on good communications, collaborative working and transparency. Her MBA and business skills have helped Tania establish a professional approach to garden design that ensures clients feel they and their gardens are safe in her hands.
"Happiness for me is contemplating a space: considering its role over time, where its beauty sits today and how it can be transformed to meet the needs of its owners. Creative design comes from a steady exposure to art forms. Spare moments are spent studying gardens, landscapes, art forms and architecture. Learning how plants work above and below soil, how they interact, which bullies and which submits, how they reach for water and light ... Understanding how plants grow and harmonise ensures we can make borders sing in the most awkward of spaces."

officially registered in 2014. Since that time we have grown organically, taking on new clients through word of mouth and really kind recommendation.
As time progressed we found we couldn't walk away from some of the gardens we'd designed and planted so we offered monthly maintenance. As our portfolio grew so too did the demand for maintenance resulting in our setting up Your Lovely Garden Maintenance in 2018. YLGM maintains some of the gardens we've designed and planted over the years.
