A really enjoyable project working for great clients who had asked Heighway Associates Architects to extend and renovate a house in Berkshire. Nestled between a historic chalk quarry and a well established orchard, the front garden of the property needed to reflect the beautiful countryside and yet offer 4 good sized parking spaces, space for a car to turn around, a log store and a side path for pedestrian access.
The project went from mud-bath to pretty as a picture. The 3D design image here shows how design can move from initial concept to completion. We were delighted to keep so many of the existing plants and to incorporate a fabulous umbrella-pruned apple tree. a very happy planting indeed.
